Set atop rolling hills in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley just outside Plymouth is Helwig Winery. With our contemporary American barn design and sweeping 360 degree views, Helwig is the perfect combination of functionality and modern day rustic charm. From our private “Three Sisters” conference room, covered outdoor pavilion complete with fireplace, to our 5,000 square foot underground cave and Century old oak tree shading one of our ponds. Helwig Winery has the perfect site for your very special ceremony and reception.

Our onsite event coordinator and experienced preferred vendors work together to ensure that your wedding is a beautiful day to remember. From start to finish our coordinator will be there to recommend ceremony and or reception sites, and be there the entire event, executing every detail.

The site fee includes the exclusive (5 pm-11 pm) use of the many locations our Winery has to offer along with tables, chairs, linens, flatware and stemware. We do offer overlays and custom colored linens for an addition price. Several distinct caterers have partnered with us, allowing you a variety to choose from to ensure that you are able to find the perfect menu for you and your budget.

 In addition to our breathtaking venue and experienced and professional staff, our wine maker, Scott Helwig crafts some of the finest wine Amador County has to offer. Upon final menu selections Scott can lend his expertise in pairing one of his succulent wines with the meal you have chosen for your guests.
